K-3 Early Reading Instructional Guidance in Response to the Pandemic

The New Jersey Tiered System of Supports (NJTSS)-Early Ready Team has developed a guidance document for district and school leaders outlining practical, research-based practices for identifying, addressing, and monitoring K-3 students early reading skills needs in response to disruptions from the pandemic.




The purpose of this webinar, which was recorded from a live broadcast on June 8, 2021, is to provide an orientation to the K-3 Early Reading Instructional Guidance for Fall 2021 in Response to the Pandemic.

NJTSS Early Reading
The NJTSS-Early Reading Team provides training and ongoing coaching to support districts statewide in building capacity to implement data-driven, multi tiered early reading supports. This work is made possible through a partnership between the New Jersey Department of Education and Rutgers University funded by a State Personnel Development Grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs.
